Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on features of pensions for citizens of Crimea and Sevastopol.
According to the law from January 1, 2015 the legislation of the Russian Federation on compulsory social insurance, including compulsory pension insurance, will apply in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
Federal law determined preferential terms for the citizen requesting for appointment or recalculation of pensions and other pension benefits. This request can be performed throughout 2015.
Also a citizen will be able to provide further details about his experience and earnings during recalculation of his pension in the 2015, if it also changes the size of his pensions and other payments. Recalculation will be made on January 1, 2015 regardless of the date of application with additional documents.
In this case, the documents in the Ukrainian language submitted by the citizens will be accepted without translation into Russian, and recalculation of pensions will be made without obtaining additional statements, information and data.
Importantly that the right to a pension will not be reconsidered during the pension recalculation.
Federal law establishes that the amount of insurance premiums will be based on the average monthly earnings of 24,245 rubles 70 kopecks for the appointment of pensions to citizens, who worked from 2002 to 2014 under an employment contract. For the appointment of pensions to self-employed citizens or to those who enter into contracts of civil nature, - based on the cost of the insurance year in 2014. This rule owes to the fact that during this period there was no data on the individual account for the calculation of such pensions in Crimea and Sevastopol.
