June 1 – the International Children’s Day. Pension Fund of the Russian Federation implements one of the state measures for Russian families with two or more children by providing a certificate for maternity (family) capital and by payment of the funds.
Today more than 2.5 million Russian families improved their living conditions due to maternity capital, about 122 thousand families have decided to direct its funds to the education of the children. Every year the number of Russian families that received the certificate is growing and has already exceeded 5.2 million.
The Government increases the amount of the maternity capital annually. In 2014 it amounts 429 408.5 rubles.
