The number of Russian citizens filing their pension assignment requests online has been growing: as many as 1.2 million Russians did so using the Personal account section on the Russian Pension Fund’s website in the first ten months of 2017. This is 440,000 people more than in the entire year 2016. Almost 1.9 million people chose the pension delivery method online; their number grew by 800,000 since 2016.
PFR budget 2018: pension payments to increase by 279 bln rubles, social benefit payments by 11.8 bln rubles
Consistent with the Russian Pension Fund’s draft budget for 2018 and the planning period of 2019 and 2020, the PFR expenditures on paying pensions to Russian citizens will grow by 279 billion rubles to 7.15 trillion rubles in 2018. The expenditures on paying social benefits will go up 11.8 billion rubles to 981 billion rubles.
Federal law on execution of Russian Pension Fund’s budget 2016 signed
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed the Federal Law “On the Execution of the Russian Pension Fund’s Budget 2016”. The law was adopted by the State Duma on September 27, 2017, and approved by the Federation Council on October 10, 2017.

The number of Russians whose pensions are assigned online has been on the rise: a total of 1.036 million Russians had their pensions assigned via the personal account section on the Russian Pension Fund’s website in the first nine months of 2017.
PFR sums up results of H1 2017
